The photo is a mixture of contrasts ranging from white to black. The interaction of the contrasts determines the lighting and the colors quality which affect our eye receptors. That leads to generation of thoughts and feelings. Represented by the mental content, the shot's idea is conveyed and integrated in a certain way depending on the viewer's background.

I'm Abdullah AL-Naser, born in 1983 in California, raised in Kuwait. I moved to West Virginia in the USA in 2001 after I completed my high school to pursue my academic career in dentistry. I'm a scholarship student sent by the ministry of higher education in Kuwait. I've been supported by my parents to get my college education abroad. The USA universities were my target, as my father studied in California in 1982-1984. I chose dentistry as a major, because it is a health care profession in which you help people get better and gain a social prestige. The life in the US offers a wonderful atmosphere for being self-dependent, exposing to different cultures and perspectives, and improving the way we look at things. Photography is one of the things I've seen my spirit approaching to since I moved abroad.

Photography has been my most favourite hobby. I am an amateur photographer with a serious trend for a professional level. I've been learning on my own through practice, which has given me experience and improved my skills. I didn't have the opportunity to learn at photography school or institutes. I had only one short photography session at one of the clubs in Kuwait in December 2006. I have a passion for portrait and fashion photography, I'll focus on it once I finish my college education enshallah.

I'm a freelance photographer, my main focus is portraiture. I can do photo shoots if the place is close to me and my schedule allows me. I return to Kuwait twice a year, three weeks in August and other three weeks in my winter break. If you have any questions about this manner, you can also email me.

My keys of excellence are the lighting and clarity of the details. As for the artistic skills, they less are attractive for most viewers than the technical aspect in my works. The lighting and composition matter to me more than the colors, as the hues play only a minor role.

What makes creativity hard is that it doesn't have boundaries. There are no rules to follow for making creative works. It is a big sea where your are a ship's captain. How are you going to persuade people to travel on your ship, those who want to see new horizons of art. It is your own way of exploration, unless you want to follow other used paths in which you will not be creative.
