"Photography is an art form many try to master with equipment alone. To me the most important piece of equipment is the photographers imagination."
How I got started?
My father once had a Leica R2, then switched over to the Contax system. I learned on the same Contax Q135 with the Carl Zeiss 50mm T* F/1.4 lens and the 85mm T*F/1.2. Later on I added a Planar 80mm f/1.2 macro lens.
As much as I would have loved to continue with the Contax system the cost to go digital was beyond what I could imagine.
I still remember the day I walked into London Drugs.

Then the Minolta Maxxum 9 caught my attention - it was all uphill from there. Of course I could not afford the 9 ;) so I got the 7 :) It was not until Konica and Minolta merge that I finally switched to digital, the KM7D. Till this day I wish I still had it. My trusty KM5D is still clicking away ... though it is black framing at start of everyday!
Minolta colors ... bokeh ... ah.
