I've had a love for photography since the age of 5 when I received my first "real" camera (the one before that didn't actually use film). It was a long, metallic pink, rectangular contraption with flashbulbs. At age 14 I fell in love with the darkroom and spent many hours watching the silver filaments dissolve into the developer. It's been a rough transition for me into the digital world and away from the natural and aesthetic sensibilities of "old school" photography, but I am enjoying the ability to manipulate my shots in ways I never could before. I'm always looking for new ideas and inspiring words/images and I find this website to be an incredible wealth of knowledge and information. Thanks!
