The primary mission of AACOP is to improve the quality and professionalism of law enforcement in our great state.

The AACOP Executive Board, Committees and Staff work hard to provide its more than 500 law enforcement executive members with:

•State-of- the-art training and continuing education– see below
•2 Conferences a Year – 12 Hours of Executive Level Training at each

•The Summer Conference – Less focused on exhibitors and more focused on providing our members, and their families, networking time with peers
•Membership and Communication Coordination – A bi-weekly e-newsletter and fully interactive website enables sharing of private emails and policy exchange
•Legislative and State Committee Support – AACOP members serve on many statewide committees ensuring safety for all Alabama Citizens
•Other Services – An online store to purchase AACOP apparel, coordination with IACP/SACOP, online surveys, and more.
