I have been retired now for over a decade, which is a wonderful blessing. It has allowed me to become myself. I am now an artist; a maker of toys, furniture and picture frames; a gardener. Chiefly, I think, an artist.

In my 'Art' collection you will see mostly watercolours, but I have also worked in oils, and look forward to trying other media, such as pastels. I enjoy ink, but my drawing skills are not very good.

I have found the friendship of like-minded artists here on Flickr to be just wonderful. With the inspiration and encouragement I have encountered here I believe I have made progress that would not otherwise have been in any way possible. Thank you all.

You will also find in my photostream photos from our travels, mostly in England, Switzerland and Germany.
