  What can I say about her that hasn’t been said already?
  
  She lives in a house in America with her husband and a small Chihuahua called ‘Pepe’. Pepe is very shy and allergic to camera flash so there are very few images of him in Mona’s stream...
  Several years ago, at the age of 42, Mona found an abandoned camera at the side of the road and took it home to care for it. It is this very camera Mona uses today to create her wonderful images...
  She still believes that she has to say the word ‘click’ when taking a photo otherwise it won’t work… No one has the heart to tell her otherwise…
  
  Seriously though…
  
  I adore her! She is intelligent, forthright, opinionated, beautiful (inside as well as out), unique, quirky, and has ideas that I would kill for!
  Oh, and she’s also a damn good photographer… But you’re here so you already know that right?"

  "Mona the explorer was destined from birth to be a photographer. I can imagine her as a tiny tot crawling around her parents living room with a plastic toy camera pretending to snap photos.
  
  The first time I saw her work, I felt instantly connected by her perspective, & I'm not just talking about the pov of a photo, but her outlook on life itself.
  
  "The world is but a canvas to the imagination." reminds me of her work, of which she shows us these creations via photography.
