The quick version:

Formerly a software engineer, got out of the rat race 10 years ago and since focussed on running my martial arts school.

I took up photography as a serious hobby about 3 years ago and since then had a bit of success with image licensing and print sales so I'm moving towards semi-professional.

My photos have been used by a design agency in Wales, featured in an exclusive limited-edition gallery, and recently appeared in national newspapers in the UK and spain.

On 20th April 2011 I was recommended for my LRPS Distinction from the Royal Photographic Society. More info on my website or follow @richolpinphoto on twitter.
