Hotel LEONIDAS is situated just 50 m. from the main beach, at a central point of the town of Rethymno
. It was radically rebuild and renovated in 2007, following modern esthetic principles which give the building its own secure and individual identity.It is a block of 24 studios and appartments with furniture and an ecquipped kitchen. Each room or appartment has its own bath, A/C, satellite TV and balcony. The Hotel is open throughout the year.
Since 30 years the hotel have been in the hands of the Spanoudakis family, so it has the advantages of a friendly and quite family atmosphere.

Rethymno is a historical town of 30,000 inhabitants at the northern coast of Crete, it is situated at the longest sand beach of the island and it is known from its visitors as the ‘hidden jewel’ of Crete. From 1400 BC Minoans, Romans, Arabs, Venetians, Turks and Cretans have created a world of charm with its ancient cities, the minarets, the citadels, the imposing castle of Fortezza, the winding narrow streets of Old Town, the Venetian harbour and its lighthouse.
