Homingpigeon is turned off by the over usage of "lol". When did it become the crutch of the verbally stunted? Are you really laughing out loud? Do you perhaps mean to say, "just joking" or "I'm taking the piss"? Because to me, it takes away the meaning from anything you might have just said in a very insecure, if I look like I am joking then I won't risk my "cool factor" sort of way.
Oh and pessimism. That earns no gold stars either.
