After participating as an expert witness during the Rodney King Trial, chosen for his high level of experience in forensic medicine, Edmund Chein found himself called to the field of DNA research, where he made several valuable discoveries. Dr. Chein discovered the the Human Growth Hormone, when introduced into adult human DNA, helped to slow down dramatically the process of biological aging. This discovery led to a long legal battle which Dr. Chein proceeded to win, thus clearing the path for other physicians to use the Human Growth Hormone and other hormones to reverse the biological aging process in adults. This discovery led to others, such as MS treatments and hormonal methods to block clogged coronary arteries, and eventually allowed Dr. Chein to expand his practice, treating over 9,000 patients to date through the Palm Springs Life Extension Institute, which he founded in 1994.
