I love dogs. My home is a place for foster dogs, especially for Border Collies with behaviour problems. I take them in and care for them until they're back to normal.

Cameras
Being an editor, I can get my hands on any camera I want. As a result, I'm not really loyal to one brand. I use DSLR cameras from Pentax, Nikon and Olympus.

Comments
Always welcome! However, please refrain from posting comments with large embedded pictures, flashy & childish animations or any other non-relevant content. I consider this unwanted clutter and *will* delete them.

Invites
I love invites, but won't always join a group just because of an invite. I won't add images to, nor join groups with "Post one, award x" rules. I comment because I want to, not because I have to.

Photographs
At this point in time, my main subject is dogs. Static dog portaits are rare, as is studio work - I like to capture them while they're playing and running. In the eyes of a pro, many of them will be flawed (technically speaking), but they do reveal the character of the dog.

In spite of these flaws, some of my photographs were featured in magazines.

"The reason why I like Hans so much aren't his pictures.
Yes, he does that very good, especially the ones with our four-feeted friends in it and 80% of the time I envy him for doing it so well.
The reason why I like him, is for his love for dogs, his down-to-earth mentality and his sense of humour. Thanks for being my friend, doggieman.

"Hans is an absolutely wonderful photographer, I aways look out for his next upload :) I particularly love those of his (and other peoples') dogs. Hans really manages to capture the dogs' characters, whether in an action shot or in a portrait. I feel as though I know his gorgeous border collie Aero very well...

His real love and knowledge of dogs and especially border collies comes across very clearly in his photos and comments. It's wonderful to come across someone who so obviously understands and cares for collies so well :) His dogs and those he fostered are very lucky!! Thanks, Hans for being such a lovely contact and Flickr friend, and I'll look forward to seeing many more brilliant photos of your dogs enjoying their happy lives with you :)"
