About me: From my buddy icon, can you guess what vehicle I am on, wearing this bicycle helmet? You got close! The relaxed posture gives it away - a recumbent.

Just a few days on flickr, and I learn from other's great pictures and knowledgeable comments. Surprised at the precision of aim needed for the composition. Similar to shooting a gun, the bulls eye keeps moving in the sights. Got the feeling my view for detail is changing. Did not happen before that I sense a good shot in a scene and start looking and moving to get there. It gets better in a community.

Flashback to age 14 - the school offered a photo workshop and being technically minded, I jumped at the chance to get my hands on an (analog) Yashica SLR and the weekly darkroom exercise. I grew up to be an electrical engineer and still take most photos of things, relatively few of people.
