Discovered photography by accident while earning my degree in Graphic Design at St. Petersberg College in Clearwater, Fl.. I briefly worked with film but discovered the exciting, world of digital photography early on. I love the instant gratification of viewing the shot instantly. As of early 2009 I've been concentrating mostly on lighting by shooting portraits and using models. If you need a portrait give me a shout.
You'll find sets that include portraits as well as some of my 'snapshots' from Europe. On vacation I tend to shoot 'from the hip' because I want to be fair to my patient husband in addition to the active pace we like to keep. Rather than setting up fine art shots with no people in them, I would rather shoot journalistic 'street photography' with the tourist site as a backdrop mainly because most of the sites we've visited have been shot to death already anyway.
To all the friends and models that I've worked with, thank you for your patience. I think I'm 'getting it' as far as lighting goes. Couldn't have done it without you!!
