Hello and thanks for visiting my Flickr photostream.

I live in NE Louisiana, along the Ouachita River Basin, and enjoy taking pictures of the lakes, rivers, bayous and swamps that makeup this part of Louisiana.

I have been inspired by the pictures from other Flickr members,and continually try to improve my own photos,. There are some really good photographers on Flickr, I hope to learn from their example.

I enjoy photography, and the Ouachita River basin. Years ago I had a Canon AE-1. When it broke, I got out of photography for many years, I always had a desire to get back into it, but life has a way of keeping you busy with other interest. When Canon put out the T1i, I decided it was time to get back into photography. Digital is the way to go!

New chapter, just purchased a Canon T2i, w/ EF-S 17-55 IS USM. I also use a EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM telephoto zoom lens. I think I'm going to like this combination. My son now has the Canon T1i, see his photostream here. www.flickr.com/photos/daveaw89/
