I started photographing as a teenager. I lost my very first set of pictures because I didn't know about the rewind button on the old Yashica camera given to me by my mother.
Still, I loved the idea of looking through the lens, seeing and then snapping the shutter.
Photography brings me into the present moment like nothing else. It is a meditation on the here and now.
I am grateful to the countless photographers that I am "meeting" out there in Flickr. Now I am looking and seeing more than ever before.
