From Peace is Possible

Practice Peace in Daily Life
...in an oppressive society, where the majority of financial and economic transactions involve some sort of harmful and/or destructive activity.

Ranging from investments and profiting off of war, to the products of sweat shop and slave labor, to the effects of industrialization on the environment...

It's going to take a lot to truly practice peace in daily life.

“Thoroughgoing ignorance about the ways of others is largely a privilege of the powerful.”
– Kwame Anthony Appiah

    Wayne in Indy says:

"My friend Robert and I argue politics all the time and agree on next to nothing. But "Berd" is a fine guy and a great human being who possesses the qualities of decency, compassion, and humanitarianism to degrees that I admire very greatly, indeed.
I may think him wrong politically, but I can't deny that he's a better human being than I am.
And, lest I forget, he's an absolutely incredible photographer!

    Apocalypse Center says:

"Berd is dedicated, tireless, always there, documenting, looking, seeing, examining and sharing what goes on in our community, our region, and our world; particularly those events revolving around peace and social justice issues. His thoughtful commentary about the issues is always provocative and worth our careful consideration. Berd has a deft touch, a discerning eye and we are lucky to have him in this community."
