I grew up in Ann Arbor, MI. After college I moved to Seattle for work (not many places you can take an aerospace engineering degree). After 10 years in the Seattle area, I needed a change. And after spending three days in New York for a management class, I knew what that change needed to be: I needed to move to New York City.

This journal covers my journey as I explore this new home of mine. I want to experience "normal" New York life. But I also want to make sure I do all there is to do. See all there is to see. Feel all there is to feel.

It's going to be a wild ride, I'm sure.
