I am an amateur photographer who is rapidly becoming addicted. Use a Nikon D70...and can't wait until the 18-200 vr lens I ordered gets here! Originally from western Canada; resident of Falls Church VA and work in Washington DC. Since I am new at this photo stuff, any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Update---the 18-200vr lens arrived after 2 mos., and I love it!!
Another update---I am now retired! Yessssssssss....
Update for Feb 09---just got a Nikon D300 and a Sigma 10-20 lens.....

Update Dec. 2010--picked up a Nikkor 28-85 3.5-4.5 lens for $25 at a yard sale... good buy!

Gimp (but not much, but it is free)
Have others but these are the ones I use most often.

My gawd it is an expensive hobby!
