Vocal FX is a young male a cappella chorus based in Wellington, New Zealand. They were formed in October 2003 after a successful evaluation at the NZABS Annual Convention. Under the direction of Charlotte Murray, they now have over 20 members and have gone on to win the Gold Medal at the 2006 NZABS Convention, the youngest chorus to ever hold the title.

Vocal FX is also proud to accommodate two outstanding quartets within its membership - the Musical Island Boys, 2006 International Intercollegiate Champions, and Resonance, 2006 NZABS Quartet Champions.

Vocal FX has just returned from a highly successful visit to Denver, Colorado for the 2007 International Barbershop Convention.

The chorus took 11th place, with an average score of 84.7, the highest ever score by an affiliate chorus.
