over 70 and still active. My interest in photography goes back to my duty in Korea. After the truce was signed, I had lot's of time on my hands, bought a Nikon F2 rangefinder and began to learn the trade. Slides took over 3 weeks to be processed and returned to us from Hawaii. Film speed was asa 12.5 (very slow), and expensive for us. Took one picture and tried to make it good, rather than twenty and choose the best. Film not only is a good recording medium, but can be a great communication medium. I feel that I should have a mental picture of what I take and plan to pass along to the viewer. Not always just an artistic photo, but as artistic as I can make it in the realm that is given.
