I've been taking photographs since the age of eight when I saved up my birthday money for a Kodak Instamatic. I graduated to my first SLR in 1980 with an Olympus OM2n and I still use the same camera today, along with a recently acquired 1940 Leica IIIb. I finally moved into the digital age when I was fortunate enough to win a Sony A700, but I will never give up film.

I've been fortunate enough to travel most of the UK and Europe, South America and Asia, including Outer Mongolia. Now confined to the South East of England, I have found a new passion in Street Photography. My heroes are Henri Cartier-Bresson and Sebastiao Salgado.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my photographs!

"One of the most gifted photographers I have the privilege of knowing. The fact that Henri Catier-Bresson is an inspiration is no coincidence!"

    Anthony Dixon Photography says:

"Lesley and I work for the same employer (though we've never met). I've been a fan of her camera work for a couple of years now, mainly through a monthly photography competition run on the company network. Whether the subject is portrait, architectural, street reportage or landscape photography, Lesley always excels and never gives anything less than her best, and her best is very good indeed. She is a perfectionist who understands light, exposure and composition, and I am in awe of her abilities. Lesley's body of photographic work is something for us all to aspire to."
