  "i consider myself fortunate to have seen buster pickles live. at the show i attended, his head became engulfed in flames when he miscalculated the arc of the flaming baton he was supposed to catch with his mouth. i believe it was then that he lost his lower jaw but i can't be sure. i was preoccupied with the size of his baton."
