. I am primarily self taught and have just upgraded to a Canon EOS 7D, so I am still learning how to use this camera. I owe my deep love of nature and wildlife to my father William Walker who was a member and President of the Audobon Chapter in his town. He has had several of his wonderful images publishied. His knowledge of birds was amazing. I spent some of the most memorable moments of my childhood with him hiking through woods in NJ, as he would point out several species of birds and rattle off their names. His greatest pleasure in life was to grab his "Nikon camera," and 600 mm lens,(talk about lens envy), and plant himself out in a blind as he would wait patiently for the birds to arrive in the early morning. I would attribute the patience I have regarding capturing wildlife to him as well.

I am currently a member of a photography group in Polk County, since I spend a majoirty of my time shooting in this county. Previously I was President of a local photography group in my home town for two years.

To have a better understanding of nature I am currently working on my Master Naturalists Certification. I have completed the first of three modules. I will be attending the second module beginning this October. It is a wonderful class and you will obtain a much better understanding of wildlife and their environment.

I have a somewhat stressful profession as a Realtor; so I truly enjoy going out and spending quiet time with my family and friends taking nature photographs.

Residing in central Florida allows me the opportunity to travel on short day trips. This permits me the ability to take some wonderful landscape and nature photographs.
