Almost six feet tall, mother to one (and a half, due July 2008), wife to a pretty great guy. I am a busy, working mom who wants to go to grad school. I've lived in Louisiana almost all my life, and I'm scared of going out of state for grad school...if I can even get in! I work at a hospital as a Medical Technologist, go to school at night to get some of my pre-reqs out of the way, and manage to cook dinner most nights. I have a very supportive family, "real" and "in-law", and I wouldn't trade them for the world.

My son, now four-years old, had a liver transplant when he was three-months old. He was born with a non-genetic liver disease that quickly made his liver cirrhotic. A new liver (compliments of his Daddy), and he was pink again. Today you wouldn't know that he was ever sick a minute in his life. He is pure boy, and is so excited about getting to be a big brother.
