I'm a used-to-wanna-be-a-photojournalist who got sidetracked by regular life and wound up being a freelance writer instead... Photo-taking has been mostly relegated to homelife, shots of my kid, mostly to document our life for posterity. I hear heads nodding in mutual quiet desperation.

Anyway -- that's probably what will end up here, too. Shots of home. But I'll try to let some creativity out of its work-a-day bonds, here and there.

Of note: the folder called PRN is just that -- photos shot by Paul R. Nelson. One of these days, he'll have his very own Flickr site, but for the moment, I'm showing off his talent here. Also - folder called "T's World" = my kid's photographic perspective.

Almost entirely due to finances, I'm not typically an early tech adopter. I'm often in the second or third wave, though. So, I'm still learning the digital cam front. My profile photo was shot by computer monitor light with my LG cellphone. I have a banged up (ask me about hornet nests and rocky hills...) AE-1 in the closet that I keep meaning to get repaired. After the even older Canon FT I had (and lost in one of those amicable divorces), the AE-1 is my baby.
