I love Flickr for showing me that I'm not the only one who's obsessed with buildings, cityscapes, urban/industrial scenery, etc! I also really enjoy looking at others' work.
I'm originally from the Midwest, but moved a lot so not just one place....I spent some formative years in Cleveland, then went to college in SW Ohio; along the way, also lived in Pittsburgh and Cincinnati. I moved to in San Francisco in the mid-90s. The Victorians here are wonderful, but I miss the decaying red-brick look of the Midwest......Since finding all these other building enthusiasts and seeing your photos on Flickr, I'm planning to take a trip back to photograph Cleveland, Cincinnati, Detroit, and Pittsburgh.
