I garden in the Pacific Northwest (Western Oregon), USA. USDA Zone 8 (or 7 as the winter may be). My philosophy is that anyone can garden, the rules can all be broken, and it is a relatively cheap and healthy hobby.

I'm NOT a landscape designer, and my garden shows it. I have a typical messy plant collector's garden. But with pretty vignettes.

I also volunteer as a Master Gardener for Oregon State University Extension Service, Washington County.

Flickr is a fluid experience for me. Contacts and groups change.

I'm posting quality photos, humorous photos, or just snapshots to share. Flickr-er since April 2006. Changed screen name from "wermsrus-jacki" in January 2007.
