Joyous-more or less-nihilist picking my way through my life and the world like so much refuse at a jumble sale. I dont think i got here early enough, all the good stuff is gone.

"I LOVE this! Raw, evocative, emotional, stirring, inspiring, simple, creative - INSANELY creative, and beautiful is the work shared in A Skin For Tomorrow's images. I wait somewhat patiently to see what he will come up with next."

"SD is hotter than hell with an eye for an anthropology of the everyday and the spectacular spectacle of the mundane with a full appreciation of the uniqueness of regular living. And while he may not think he's arrived early enough, at least he's arrived--and he's brought the good stuff in himself...can I get an AMEN to that!?!"

"Although I've only known Sean a very short time, I was so impressed with his photography, I felt compelled to send him a Flickr-gram right away! His photos are simply wonderful. Each is a story unto itself, and I've become hooked on each one. Sean may not admit it out of modesty, but he is a true artist! If his photographs don't capture your heart, his profile will. I am so fortunate to have met him and to be his friend."

"Yes of course...I do understand and appreciate your work.
    But.
The day we are born, we start 'expiring'. Breathing is the food of life. He has it,
Enjoy every moment, do not look back. His images exemplify this attitude...make your words and thoughts too do the same! If this is what an 'expiring' writer can accomplish...what could he not do when every nerve of his is quietly, janglingly alive!?"

"poundingwood's photostream is the second i've found at flickr to fill me with a feeling i am not accustomed to: recognition of the love between friends and family. his photos are a sweet collection of intimacy and observation of the humanity close to him and nearby. not so much biographical maybe as it is socio/anthropological. the people who matter deeply showcased with love and the people to the right and left of you in the world you maybe don't look at quite enough. one of the old traditions of being a photographer is to look a little bit longer and deeply than the next person and i see poundingwood has this firmly at heart. i am appreciative of his sharing this life with me at flickr. to me, it is a reminder that humanity has a heart."
