My interest in photography is all over the place... so let's see if I can break it down a bit:

---> I try to take pictures of daily life's happenings on a, well, daily basis. It doesn't always work, but I do my best.
---> I'm a huge baseball fan, go to 20 +/- ballgames every year, and take lots of pictures at them. Though the pictures may get somewhat redundant slash repetitive from game to game, I think there are still some there that shine. In the end, I'm trying to document my lifelong love affair with baseball.
---> For quite some time now, friends have been telling me that I take nice photos (thanks!). More specifically, they seem to say I've got some sort of an eye for the art of it. Occassionally (though nowhere near as often as i wish), you'll see a set or a stream of decidedly different photos (from my norm) that might say, "Hey, i'm trying to be fine!" (get it?).

My paltry collection of beginner grade equipment:
---> Pentax ZX-M 35mm SLR body, 28-80mm kit lens, and a Pentax 80-320mm zoom lens (the one's that are trying to be "fine" come most often from this camera, in either color or black and white)
---> Canon SD1000 Digital Elph point-and-shoot (the day to day mundanity, baseball games, etc.)

Ironically, I hope to grab a low-end digital SLR within the next year. I was staunchly against them (see below) for quite some time, but having used those that belong to some friends on numerous occassions, I am starting to realize that it might be a worthwhile investment for, yes, my day to day photos and even baseball games. Speaking of baseball, I also have a lifelong love affair with film and what it makes me do when I'm looking through that viewfinder; namely, slow down, pay attention, think, and focus. I hate to say it, but I'm never going to quit film... it's just too gratifying and I do it because it feels good.
