I started photography using a canon prima zoom APS camera..it's a fully automatic point and shoot film camera..i shot a lot of my wife's photos( gf back then) using it..turns out looking good..guess i was naturally quite good at composition and perspective..(didn't know those terms until i read about it a few years later)..

my first digital cam was a pns sony p2..broke down after just over a year..
and a year later, i bought a nikon coolpix5700 superzoom bridge camera..which produces good images in good light but too noisy even at 400iso.a gr8 camera in good light..but tends to hunt for focus in not so bright areas..i took a 3 day course in basic photography n how to use an slr after i bought the camera..it broke down after 7 months( bought it used from ebay)..had the lens unit changed at nikon scc for 300sgd after i bought my first dslr in march 2007... gave the coolpix to my bro hoping he'd join in the hobby.

i am a self taught photographer
i shoot one on one with my model without any assistant..
my equipment used is nothing to shout about...but i try to get the best with what i have..

the reservoir set was where i started to use off camera lighting..



may 2008 was the point where i really understand and got comfortable with my cam..



in july..i tried out some studio style settings...here i played with off camera speedlights..umbrella and different reflectors..



i tried the same thing in the dawn set..only that it's an on location photoshoot..and we moved around a lot



and everything comes together in A NEW CHAPTER set..the lightings..natural and off cam speedlight..the white balance..even the editing in ps..i really hoped that i have improved enough over the 16 months to be a good weddings and glamour photographer...
after all ..i did set my target of two years..
