My photographic life began in the late sixties in the Detroit, Michigan area. I spent about fifteen years as a news photographer, twenty-two years as a corporate photographer, six years as an adjunct photography instructor at Macomb Community College (Warren, MI) and for several years I operated a studio at the Russell Industrial Center in Detroit. About two and a half years ago I relocated to New Orleans, where I continue to pursue my art.

My work has been displayed at River's Edge Gallery, Wyandotte, MI, Detroit Artists' Market, Swords Into Plowshares Peace Center (Detroit) Cranbrook Art Museum (Bloomfield Hills, MI) and others, and is included in the permanent collections of the Detroit Institute of Arts, Michigan State University and the University of Michigan.

Since relocating to New Orleans I have shown my work at the Louisiana Pizza Kitchen, Lost Love Lounge, Homespace Gallery and Scott Edwards Gallery.

I'm also a musician (guitar, tenor sax) and an avid sailor. I like food and wine and whenever I can I like to jump on a plane and go somewhere.
