~Fauve~'s photostream

I'm not a photographer. I use photography as a jumping-off point for my paintings. And I like to play around with composition. Oh, please, don't expect photographic excellence from me! I am, however, a great admirer of good photography, and I'm delighted to have found Flickr. I'm just beginning to fill up my favorites folder with your beautiful images. Thanks to those of you who bring your art forward for the lesser-talented "picture-takers" like myself!

I'm an artist, and art teacher to kids kindergarten age through 8th grade. Life is full! Each day is different and wonderful. I have this overwhelming need to "make things". Constantly. It seems I always have several "works in progress." I am totally addicted to yarn. I make lots of things... (Visit my shop at creativehook.etsy.com) . I often feel there is not enough time in the day to complete all the "stuff" I want to do. As a student of mine once reverently stated: "Life is good... Life is good..."
