Writer and urban regeneration consultant. In private practice since 2004. Urban realm clients range from North Edinburgh Arts to Plymouth City Council. 2011-2012 I am developing a contemporary vernacular CLT wood & thatched roof OSM demonstration housing project allied to a Victorian terrace retrofit in East London near the Olympics site. A dedicated website will be created as soon as investors/funding is in place.

My writing appears in mainstream print publications focusing on architecture, design, textiles, craft and "big ideas" (e.g a feature on Creating Shared Value - a Harvard Business School idea - for The Scotsman newspaper. General Editor of "Architecture: The Whole Story" (2013) and contributor to "1001 Buildings You Must See Before You Die (2008.)
