I have always been interested in photography to some degree. As a kid I wanted to grow up being a photographer but for various reasons that didn't happen. Since I didn't have any gear to practice with, I sort of forgot about it for a few years.
It took a single studio photography course while studying multimedia in college to fire up my interest in it once again, so I picked up an entry level SLR camera and started practicing photography techniques and honing compositional skills.
A few years down the road, I'm still practicing, still learning. My interest for photography has morphed into a passion, and I secretly hope that one day it might be more than "just a hobby". Until then, enjoy my photostream.
