My name is Jeanet, and I am an addict......

- To flickr that is.

My husband says about me and my camera: " It is not a hobby, it´s an obsession"........

I have been a member now for about 3-4 months. And my life has not been the same. Those are big words, but I really mean it.

I am amazed by all the talent here, and the more time I spent here at flickr, the more I feel I know a little bit more about the people behind the pictures and the comments.
And that is starting to be as important as the pictures.

I have been taking pictures for about a year, and I am hooked. I have no technicall skills or traing within photography, whatsoever.....But I am learning as I go along.
Small steps for some of you, but HUGH steps for me. So every comment on my pictures is welcome.

I like to take pictures of almost everything, and I fell a need to challenge myself more now, than I ever had . Sometimes it becomes a succes, sometimes it becomes a bunch of s..., but for every take I learn something new,- or what not to do......

So keep up the good work boys and girls.... I am waiting to be amazed.....

That is my goal.....To capture beautifull moments and maybe just one day.....be able to amaze people as I have been....

I am 34 years old/ young....Married and the mother of 2 daughters....

    I think one of the best picture of a child I have ever seen (and not just on flickr) was taken by Jeanet. Her shot "Favorite thing to do......" is everything we aspire to capture in an image. The electric smile, the beautiful hair, the little bit of mud on her heel...all amazing details of the little girl. The texture and age of the swing and rope are evident, and speak of years of laughter. Looking at this photo I can almost hear it. It's all right there...a lifetime worth of stories, all in one shot.

    THAT is what we aspire to capture, and THAT is what Jeanet is achieving. Wonderful knowing you, my friend!"
