eudæmon says:
"It speaks to one’s mastery of the instrument and technical prowess when one no longer has to comment on those aspects of an image. Superb technique is a given with Michael. His camera and know-how gets out of his way to produce poignant street stories with acute vision yet kindness for his subjects. He is one of the few street photographers I know who give back as much as they take from their street environment. Some may call his approach measured, I believe it reflects love and purity of emotion. His passion and dedication also find their way onto flickr – Michael is one of the very few people on here whose comments, encouragement, and suggestions I look forward to. He’s made me a better photographer and indeed a better human being. Michael, it’s a true privilege to have come to know you both on here and offline."

Cobra_11 says:
"Your portraits of people are absolutely amazing! The colours and tones are always soft and inviting, the composition of the shots is perfect to create the mood of the photo. But what I admire most on your shots is the fact that every portrait tells a story. One can "read" a person's face on your shots just like a book. The fact that there's something more to each of your photos than just mere graphics is what makes your stream of portraits so magic. Well done and I'm looking forward to seeing many more great shots from you!"

"This is the first testimony i write on flickr, and maybe the only one...

Quality, emotion, surprise, and above all passion. Thanks so much for commenting my work so kindly, im a simple amateur photographer and your visits are a real pleasure and honour for me!

She Said Unprintable Things says:
"Michael brought me to Flickr and inspired me to become a Street Photographer myself. So he is one of my life's angels, because he has led me to something I truly love.
But had I stumbled across Michael's stream on flickr, instead of stumbling across him on the street, I know that he would have still become a source of inspiration and influence in my life.
Because his photos, and his friendship, are honest and pure- and isn't that the ultimate goal? I think it is, and Michael's stream will let you view the bits of it. And if you are lucky enough to have him as a regular contact, then his comments too, will speak to you on that same plane of sincerity and authenticity, and of good will.
I don't know a lot about the technical aspect of photography. So, I don't have the fluency to speak about that part of Michael's skill which he obviously has.
But, like everyone else, I know about heart. So I can say that if you'd like to witness heart, then tune into Michael's stream!"1st February, 2010

artcphoto says:
"Michael is a photographer who knows NYC.
He is at home shooting everywhere around the city.
He has an unmatched clarity of vision.
His vision is direct with out gimmicks.
He shows us the people and places of NY with his kind eye.
And Michael has an analytical eye when viewing the work of others.
His comments are always right on cutting to the heart of the matter.
I am grateful that I have become a Flickr friend of Michael's.
I am always waiting for his next post and am always looking forward to his comments on my shots and the shots of others
.A generous man and an eagle eyed photographer!"22nd December, 2009
