WELCOME!

First off, I love Flickr! It's my second favorite web-site in the whole WWW. I love tags. They are so awesome. I don't think people fully comprehend how useful and fun they are!

I have two types of photos on here: old and new, pretty much. My original purpose of my Flickr was to upload all the old family photos I could get my hands on (this is when tags are really helpful), so I could share them with everyone. I still do that, but I have found out I like taking photos too! I'm not a professional by any stretch of the imagination, but I have my moments. I love my iPhone, because it's a decent little camera I can have on me all the time, to catch those little moments I might have otherwise missed because I didn't think to bring my camera.

I have another Flickr too! It's my "Small Town OK" Flickr and it's just full of photos from small towns, and include both old photos and new. You can find it here

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Thanks for checking out my pictures! On the older family photos, if you recognize a picture, please help me out by making a comment. Things that would be helpful are if the ID is incorrect, where and when the picture was taken and/or a short story of what you remember about the event in the picture. I'll use that information to better label the pictures and add any stories to my family tree!

BEWARE THE "TAKEN IN" DATA!

The dates indicated by "taken in" on photos is sometimes wrong. Often it will be obvious (if it's black-and-white, probably not taken this year). On older pictures, the date shown will often be the date I scanned the photo or uploaded it to Flickr. I've corrected some that I know the date, but not all.

WANT TO USE A PHOTO?

Most of my photos are marked Attribution. Which means you can use them as long as you attribute the photo to me (but not in any way that suggests that I endorse you or your use of the photo).
