  "have known Jess for what must be coming up to a year now. At the start I know she was getting very frustrated with a tutor who would dislike a photo unless it conformed to the sort of rules that would have every photo being some kind of boring lifeless shot. Despite that she's carried on doing what she liked.
  
  Her latest stuff has given me a problem in that its good, gritty and real arty and I didnt do it! Would like to know the sources of inspiration! Part of me wishes to still have the teenage angst and search for my own voice but I don't and instead I have to get frustrated at seeing in how such a short time Jess has leapt so far, just hope she keeps up with it."
