I've been mostly inactive for about two years. I broke my second camera and lived in three different rented rooms. Went through a weird relationship. This year I have both a new laptop and a new camera and will soon have my own internet connection. My Pro Account has expired, but I should be able to do that this month or next.

My approach has been simply to take snapshots as I go. I haven't gone out to take specific types of shoots except to do some profile shots for a friend when his book of poems was published. It's just a scrapbook, in which, of course, I have strived towards quality. My motto is to shoot something with what I''ve got, where I am. My apologies to friends I haven't commented on or responded to. You have inspired me so much and added great quality to the fun I have with photography!

I live in a small apartment now, with Terah Morgaine, in one of four old hotels founded by four Italian families last century. We have a window to the South looking out over a garden and can see the ocean. Everything I need is within a couple of blocks walking distance.

I've reinvented myself. Well, I feel like I've been through the mill, been initiated, etc. The seven year cusps always lead me through big change and I've just survived the 9th one. I'm 63. Spirit and the Ravens and a couple of real friends are still with me. I'm recovering a bit, physically, but all in all, well and happy.

Keep snapping! And remember, no matter how tough things get ... happiness is still the best revenge!
