"Daniel has taken excellent headshots of our entire team for the company directory. His images made our team really stand out from the rest of the company! I highly recommend his photographic services, and will definitely work with him in the future."

"Dan's photography started from a great foundation: Natural Talent
I've been watching his photography style evolve for the last 6+ years and he just keeps getting better. His HDR pieces are amazing. They frequently come off as surreal paintings until you realize he just took a picture of something many have seen a million times, but just from a very unique perspective, and applied the right texture and light to make it really enjoyable to behold.
What I really love about his photography is how he captures people in the moment. Not posing, not 'do this or that', just a really good eye and timing to capture an emotion or thought in someone's face or body language that comes across clearly in the photograph.
Soon I hope he will be photographing my sister's wedding in Crested Butte CO. I wouldn't trust anyone else to capture the moments of that day more vividly and honestly than him.
Dan's also a great guy. Really knowledgeable, helpful, and a great person to talk to. I look forward to knowing him and much more of his photography in the years to come!"24th January, 2010

"I met Dan about 8 years ago and since then I have learned how great of a person he really is. He is an intellectual, kind, intelligent, thoughtful, and willing. He has helped me with computers, photography, life, and everything inbetween. He has provided honest critique on my photos and as a result made me a better photographer. I admire Dan for all that he has done. I can only hope that one day I'll be in the same position to help someone as he helped me."

"I have been a fan of this man's work for some time now, and I'll tell you why: he takes pictures that I simply would not think to take. That, to me, is one of the traits I seek out in the work of others - to be shown a perspective that is new to me. I will always look forward to viewing his work, because the results are always worth it.
Furthermore, he's just an excellent person."22nd July, 2008

"The most helpful person on the internet. Dan has helped me increase my developing skills dramatically and my photos have turned out great because of his insight. I regret not coming to him sooner. Thanks again Dan!

"After shooting film for 30 years, I put off going digital until the cameras got better and the prices came down. Then I saw HDR and the creative bug hit me again. Ihad to even learn how to upload a photo to flickr. After studying hundreds of HDR photos I had but a handful of artist who's work I really admired. His work inspired me. After purchasing a D300 system. I contacted him for tips on shooting HDR. He was most gracious and not only answered my e-mails, he's stayed in contact since. He took time out to take an interest in a neophyte trying to learn. Now that I'm starting to create and put my work up, he's always watching and giving support. Hell' I've got friends that don't do that. Look forward to his future work and friendship."

"I first met Dan when I was lucky enough to be assigned to a team with him at Gateway. I'm sure that he began to hate me there because I picked his brain for answers every chance I got. He is the reason that I survived that place.
Six or so years later and I still pick his brain every chance I can get. From photography to computers and most everywhere inbetween Dan is pretty much a genius at everything he touches. You will never meet a more loyal friend and patient teacher. Thanks Dan for everything that you have taught me and will continue to teach me in the future."18th February, 2008

"To me -- and I am sure I am not alone -- Dan is so inspirational. Not only do his HDR photos rock but his character rocks just as hard. It's clear from his photostream that he has a solid eye behind the lens and I can attest to his determination to become better from riding way behind him on a bicycle up a more than 4,000 ft mountain this summer."
