Hello,

my name is Jens and I live in Hamburg, which is in my mind the most beautyful town in Germany. One exception – the winters are dreadful. Therefore and due to the fact, that I work for the public administration I try to escape twice a year and travel as much as possible. To speak with Somerset Maugham: “I travel, because I like to travel. I enjoy the sense of freedom it gives me. It pleases to get rid oft ties, responsibilities, duties, I like the unknown. I have the notion that by travel I can add something to my personality and change so myself a little. I do not bring back from a journey quite the same I took.”

Photography is just the attempt to catch something of the moments, which make travelling so precious. There is nothing to add, but one thing. We should give back something to the countries we visit – so don’t hesitate and join Plan International: www.plan-international.org/
