Suddenly I find myself interested in photography, I think it's because I keep seeing cool pictures posted by my friends on facebook. I always said "I live the adventure, not chronicle the adventure" as an excuse to not have pictures for anything I do. The real reason is that I just didn't want to carry around a big camera and expensive film, but digital technology has found a solution for me.

I bought myself a Canon SD1000 with a 4GB SD card and it's a beautiful, sexy, small, quite capable digital camera. So now I have no excuse to not go out and take pictures.

I'm the type that has to be in the "right mood" to do pretty much anything. I often have movies or CDs sitting unwrapped in my room waiting to be played because I'm not "in the mood" to watch/listen since I want the event to be special and I want to be in the right mindset to completely appreciate. I'm forcing myself to carry this camera around everywhere I go, and just like when I force myself to watch a movie, I end up getting really into it and inspiration comes naturally. This first set of pictures started out ok and I think by the end it ended up being quite good.

I might get really into this and need an upgrade soon. As if I needed an other expensive hobby, cars and audiophilia are bad enough on my wallet...

- Update.
It's been a while since I last updated this but I've definitely gotten into this and bought myself an Olympus E-510 and as McDonald's would say, "I'm loving it"

Great, an other expensive hobby. What else could I possibly add to the list? Wine? ... hmmm, there's an idea.

I can't think of anything else to write at the moment, I should update this soon... Does anyone ever look at this? Or care for that matter? BAH! Whatever.
