I am a very busy working grandma. I am hoping to learn some things from all the wonderful photographers on this site. I do not now, nor will I ever, claim to be anything other than an amateur photographer. I have a simple point & shoot camera (Samsung i85) and none of the fancy stuff, but that suits me to a tee, as I am a very simple person. I have no tripod, no lenses and use Picasa as an editting program. I usually just do "auto correct" and maybe some cropping. So, my photos are all "freehand" and pretty much "what you see is what you get".
The pictures I take are for me; things I like, things that interest me; things I want to remember. If I can share them with my friends and they can get some enjoyment out of them, then all the better.
I have always enjoyed looking at pictures of flowers and one day I said to myself: "Hey girl, you can take your own pics of flowers, instead of sitting here searching the net", so basically that is what this is all about. If you are reading this, then you must have seen something that you enjoyed, and that is an added bonus for me. Thanks.
