Mostly, I've been posting photos of what's going on in our life here in Galveston, TX. Some of the photos were taken by my boyfriend as well. I'm finding that as I take more photos, I'm paying more attention to all the aspects of a good picture -- lighting, composition, subject, etc. I've also learning a lot about cropping afterwards. :-)

I'm playing around with all the functions on the new camera and I'm having a ton of fun with that. I need to get out and around town more. The wonderful old Victorian architecture here in Galveston is a potential future subject as well as all the quirky little things you'll only find on the island.
