I'm working as an English teacher in Japan and have been here since 1997. Since 1998 I've been doing wedding photography for an agency in Tokyo, so by now I have taken some hundreds of weddings for couples in the Tokyo and outlying areas, plus a large number of events, models, editorial and architectural work both for the agency and myself.

I've been using Nikons since forever, with a rangefinder as either a back-up, or main, depending on the task at hand. For pro work I'm currently using a Nikon D700, but have recently purchased the Leica M9 to go with two beautiful Summicron lenses. The clarity and detail I'm getting from this camera are astonishing, and I'll continue to add to that system as funds allow.

In my free time, you'll often find me wandering the backstreets of Tokyo, looking for images and inspiration.
