Judith*Green's photostream
|
I have a grown up son and a partner and a cat. I am not able to go away much, so the challenge is to photograph my home, garden, village, and my little corner of South Wiltshire, in an interesting way.

"Laboriously in English:
Alceda is a daily visitor of my album on Flickr. This leaded me to look at her one. So I discovered the world seen through the yes of a quiet english woman, living in a quiet (I suppose) english corner (so she says).
In her photos you can see an infinite variety of living creatures and living places: butterflies, caterpillars, flowers, leaves, birds, waterdrops, lines on the ground, water and so and so. A world found not so far from home, but in full 3D: first and second dimension on the flat image on the screen, the third one straight from the soul of a sensible person.
Thank you Judith to show us the projection of part of you in your images."17th October, 2009

birdsandwater says:
"As an avid bird watcher I first came across Judith Green’s photostream after viewing a lovely photograph she’d taken of—not surprisingly—a bird. We bird watchers can be rather obsessive about the objects of our affection (birds). That fact combined with never enough time to look at all the multitude of photographs on Flickr means that I usually zero in on photographs of the avian persuasion.
However, I soon found myself making an exception to this self-imposed rule for all of Judith’s photographs. I am drawn to her photostream, where I am continually struck by her eye.
Of course she can, and does, take lovely photographs of birds and of all the flora and fauna around her. That is only a portion of her talent as a photographer. She also has the uncanny ability to transform nature—its small moments and subtle aspects--into gorgeous and interesting patterned abstractions. From the ordinary she manages to see and capture the extraordinary!"4th September, 2009
