I bought my first DSLR back in June 2007 when I was in California. I started doing nature photography. Specially birds. Then I moved back to Norway, and I started to take pictures of concerts. I also started fashion photography.

I have a Canon 350D and a 40D. My lenses are a bad Tamron 18-200 for every day use and landscapes, the Canon L 100-400 for animals (it is so heavy, you easily knock out a bear with it), a Canon 100 2.8 macro for... macro, but also for portraits from far, and a Canon 50 1.4 for portraits. My strobes are a Sigma EF-500 DG super, and the Vivitar 285HV, both with a acid-lead battery pack mod. With a pair of eBay triggers. I also have two chinese 110Ws strobes. A backdrop stand, some light stands, umbrellas, and softbox.

I use Shotwell, GIMP, UFRaw, Hugin as main tools, everything under Linux. Though most of my pictures stay are untouched.
