Retired Air Force musician. Happily married for 48 years. Two children, 3 grandchildren. I have too many hobbies, the main ones being photography, woodworking, playing around with old mills such as gristmills and cane mills, and hit and miss engines.I also raise a little sorghum for making syrup.

Digital has really rekindled my interest in making images. I haven't been in a darkroom for over 23 years, and I don't miss it a bit. Of course I wouldn't trade the experience picked up there.

I am, always learning something new, so the old saying about not being able to teach an old dog new tricks is simply not true.

Please don't invite me to any groups. While I appreciate the principle, I like commenting on my own contacts images, and being obligated to comment on images outside my friends requires more time than I care to spend here.
