I'm a family and wedding photographer in Vancouver, BC, Canada. I shoot on location primarily using only natural light.

I have been taking pictures for fifteen years, starting with mainly travel, architecture and nature photography. While planning my own wedding in 2008 I discovered a new-to-me genre of modern, on location portraiture with which I fell in love. Alongside graphic design (my other profession for the last ten years), portrait photography became a new passion of mine.

I describe my photographic style as casual and relaxed, but also contemporary and fresh. I'm inspired by shapes, colours, and textures found in nature and love the simplicity of modern design and pattern. I wish for my photographs to tell an interesting story about the people they represent and the special places they choose for their portraits and celebrations.

Today my camera bag includes a Canon 5D Mark II, 50mm 1.8, 20-70mm 2.8, 100mm Macro, 70-200mm 4.0, and 580 EX II Flash.
