I’ve always loved pictures. My very first camera (a “Davy Crockett”) was ordered by my parents from the Montgomery Ward Christmas catalog. Over the years I upgraded until eventually buying a Canon which I still use. I am new to digital photography; but so far, I love it. I like to refer to it as my source of “instant gratification.”
I am a wife, mother of 3, grandmother to 5 and caregiver to my mother who has dementia.

"I love to see Janet's photos. She's never stuck on any one type of photo or theme and all her photos are so interesting to look at and such great quality. She doesn't give herself enough credit for the beautiful work she does, but gives out plenty of credit to others. Janet is the main reason I am on Flickr, she got me started, was my first Flickr contact and is my very dear friend. She has a heart of gold, loves her family and it shows in her photos.
